The Institute of Town Planners, India – Haryana Regional Chapter (ITPI-HRC) has announced the 2nd Edition of the National Photography Competition 2026 – “City Through Your Lens 2.0”. The competition invites photographers to explore and document diverse dimensions of urban life through their lenses.
The competition seeks photographs that capture architecture, heritage, public spaces, streetscapes, people, mobility, nature and everyday experiences of cities, providing a national platform for photographers to showcase how they observe and interpret the urban environment.
Competition Themes
The competition features four themes:
- Cities in Frames
- Life Between Buildings
- Moving Cities
- Wildlife, Nature in the City
Prizes
The Overall Winner will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000. Theme winners will receive prizes of ₹31,000, ₹21,000 and ₹11,000. The competition will also recognise one student winner across all themes.
Eligibility and Exhibition
The competition is open to participants 18 years and above. Selected photographs will be showcased through a two-day exhibition at Museo Camera, Gurugram.
