The programme focuses on enhancing participants’ understanding of BIM-enabled workflows, covering the entire building lifecycle—from conceptual design and planning to construction, documentation, collaboration, and facility management. The organisers aim to provide hands-on exposure to BIM tools and demonstrate how digital technologies are transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

The workshop curriculum includes sessions on Introduction to BIM, Modelling and Documentation, and Collaboration & Coordination, enabling participants to develop coordinated 3D building models, generate drawings and schedules, and explore multidisciplinary project collaboration techniques.

The technical sessions will be led by Ar. Shine Joseph (PhD) and Mr. KumaraSwamy S.J., BIM Expert, BMRCL–Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. The programme is being conducted under the patronage of Ar. Gajananad Ram, Honorary President, Council of Architecture, who will serve as the Chief Patron.

Participants who successfully complete the workshop, fulfil the attendance requirements, and submit the feedback form will receive a COA-TRC Awarding Certificate. The registration fee is ₹1,600, and registrations remain open until 27 June 2026, 5:30 PM.

According to the organisers, the workshop is intended to strengthen digital competencies among architects and architecture students while promoting wider adoption of BIM-based design methodologies across the profession.
