CEPT Research Symposium 2026 to Spotlight Interdisciplinary Research in Architecture and Urban Studies

CEPT University has announced the sixth edition of the CEPT Research Symposium, scheduled to be held from 29 to 31 January 2026. Organised by the Doctoral Office, the three-day annual symposium will bring together doctoral scholars, faculty members, and research professionals from across the country to engage in advanced academic and professional research discussions.

The CEPT Research Symposium 2026 is conceived as a platform for sharing research findings, methodologies, and critical experiences, while also fostering learning through expert reviews, thematic panels, and interdisciplinary dialogue. The event reflects CEPT University’s continued emphasis on research-led thinking in architecture, planning, design, engineering, and allied fields.

Thematic Focus Across Three Days

The symposium will be structured around thematic panel discussions spread across three days:

  • Day One will focus on energy performance, construction technology, and engineering, addressing emerging challenges and innovations in the built environment.
  • Day Two will bring together perspectives from cognitive science, history, and education in architecture, encouraging cross-disciplinary interpretations of design and learning.
  • Day Three will centre on water systems, mobility, urban planning, and urban design, with discussions rooted in contemporary city-making and infrastructure concerns.

A select group of CEPT doctoral scholars and faculty members, along with invited researchers and professionals, will participate in these thematic panels.

Registration Details

  • External participants (those other than currently registered CEPT students) are required to register through the official QR code, with a registration fee applicable.
  • CEPT students must also register, though registration is free for them.
  • The last date for registration is 24 January 2026.
