New Delhi | The Council of Architecture (CoA), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, will organise a one-day offline Professional Training Programme on “Facade Design Using BIM” on 1 August 2026 at the CoA, NBCC Centre, Okhla Phase-I, New Delhi. The programme is designed to enhance participants’ expertise in computational facade design and Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows.
The training will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature Ar. Siddharth Bhagwat as the expert trainer. The programme’s primary software platform will be ARCHICAD, while participants will also be introduced to Vectorworks and Solibri. The training is being conducted in partnership with the Nemetschek Group.
According to the programme brochure, the session aims to help participants move beyond conventional curtain wall design by adopting computational design techniques and BIM-enabled digital workflows. The training will include expert-led sessions, live software demonstrations, and practical guidance on taking facade projects from concept development to validation.
The programme is open to architecture students, registered architects, faculty members, and BIM professionals. Participants are required to bring their own laptops. The registration fee is ₹1,500, while the last date for registration is 30 July 2026 (5:00 p.m.).
CoA has stated that certificates will be issued only to participants who maintain full attendance, complete all EoPT assignments, and submit the mandatory feedback form. Queries regarding the programme can be sent to dy-director-delhi@coa.gov.in.
