The Department of Architecture at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for multiple faculty positions, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. - Professor (2 Posts) – ST (1), SC (1)
- Associate Professor (1 Post) – ST (1)
- Assistant Professor (1 Post) – UR (1)
Applicants must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed under the UGC Regulations and the Council of Architecture (COA) norms, along with the applicable Government of West Bengal regulations. Candidates with expertise in Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Building Engineering, and other allied subjects are encouraged to apply.
For senior faculty positions, the university prefers candidates with significant industry and teaching experience, research publications, Ph.D. supervision, externally funded research projects, professional recognitions, and experience in organizing academic conferences and workshops. Assistant Professor applicants with a Ph.D., industry experience, teaching experience, and research publications will be given preference.
Pay Scale
- Professor: Academic Level 14 – ₹1,44,200 to ₹2,18,200
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A – ₹1,31,400 to ₹2,17,100
- Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 – ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400
