Navi Mumbai: The much-awaited Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, marking a historic milestone in India’s aviation and infrastructure development. Developed by the Adani Group, the airport is envisioned to become one of the most advanced and sustainable aviation hubs in the country.

In a public acknowledgment, Adani Group expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for inaugurating the landmark project and appreciated the Government of Maharashtra, its people, and all partners involved in transforming the vision into reality.
The Navi Mumbai International Airport, designed to ease air traffic pressure on Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, is expected to handle 60 million passengers annually upon completion of all phases. The airport’s design, inspired by the lotus flower — India’s national symbol — reflects a blend of technological innovation, sustainability, and cultural identity.
