Council of Architecture Opens Library for Architects and Students in New Delhi

The Council of Architecture (CoA) has announced the opening of its library for registered architects and architectural students, providing complimentary membership and access to an extensive collection of professional publications and reference materials. The initiative is aimed at strengthening academic learning, professional research, and knowledge sharing within India’s architectural community.

Located at the Council of Architecture’s office on the 7th Floor of the NBCC Center, Okhla Phase I, New Delhi, the library offers members access to the Council’s official publications, technical references, standards, and architectural literature. In addition to reading facilities, members can also avail themselves of the book issuance service, making it a valuable resource for both practicing professionals and students pursuing architectural education.

The Council stated that the library has been established to encourage continuous learning and provide a dedicated knowledge hub for the profession. By offering complimentary membership, the initiative removes financial barriers and enables wider access to quality reference materials that support architectural practice, research, and education.

The library is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding gazetted holidays.
