Scheduled from 18 May to 22 May 2026, the FDP will be conducted at the Council of Architecture, 7th Floor, NBCC Centre, Okhla Phase-1, New Delhi, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily.

The initiative focuses on strengthening the understanding and application of the “5S of Architecture” — Site, Structure, Services, Safety, and Sustainability — through the integration of contemporary technologies and practical learning approaches. According to the organizers, the program is designed to help participants apply technology effectively in architectural education and professional practice.

The Faculty Development Program will include 15 expert sessions aimed at enhancing pedagogical practices, improving the quality of student deliverables, and updating professional knowledge in the rapidly evolving architecture and construction sector. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of participation.

The FDP is open to:

  • Nominated faculty members from architectural institutions through the CTP registration link
  • Individual architects through a separate registration process

The event is being convened by Prof. Dr. Rashmi B. Tandon, Director, CoA-TRC Delhi, with coordination by Ar. Shrutika Joshi, Assistant Director, CoA-TRC Delhi.

The Council of Architecture has increasingly focused on capacity building and professional upskilling initiatives to bridge the gap between traditional architectural education and emerging technological practices. This FDP is expected to provide a collaborative learning platform for educators and professionals from across the country.
