Harit Prem Bharat Mahotsav 2026 to Focus on India’s Net Zero Pathway

The 8th Edition of Harit Prem Bharat Mahotsav 2026 is set to be held from 23 to 30 January 2026, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, sustainability professionals, and students to deliberate on India’s transition towards a low-carbon and climate-resilient future.

Organised under the aegis of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), the week-long virtual programme will be conducted on the Webex platform, with daily sessions scheduled from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Theme: Regenerate – The Net Zero Path

The 2026 edition adopts the theme “Regenerate – The Net Zero Path”, emphasising regenerative development, clean energy transitions, circular economy practices, and sustainable resource management as key pillars of India’s climate action strategy.

    Setting the national and industry-level context for India’s net zero ambitions.
  • 28 January | Day 2
    The Net Zero Path: Accelerating Energy Independence
    Discussions on renewable energy, decentralised systems, and energy security.
  • 29 January | Day 3
    Liquid Gold: Securing India’s Blue Future
    Focus on water sustainability, conservation, and blue economy strategies.
  • 30 January | Day 4
    Transforming Waste into Wealth
    Exploring circular economy models, waste-to-resource solutions, and innovation.
