Spread across 18.3 acres at the Noida-Delhi-Faridabad border along the Yamuna, the park—officially named Noida Jungle Trail—is modeled on Delhi’s famous Waste-to-Wonder and Bharat Darshan parks. It aims to combine environmental awareness with leisure, showcasing how waste can be transformed into art and recreation.

Sculptures and Unique Features

The park will feature over 800 sculptures of animals, birds, and dinosaurs, crafted from more than 500 tonnes of iron scrap and plastic waste. Built at a cost of nearly ₹15 crore, the park has been developed with a 4D theme concept to provide visitors with an immersive experience.

According to Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M., “The country’s first park made of waste is ready. Once inaugurated, adventure services will be introduced for the visitors.”

Three Distinct Zones

The park has been designed with three thematic zones:

  • Zone 1 (4 acres): Entry plaza, parking for 300 vehicles, a 1,000-seat amphitheatre, food court, and exhibition space.
  • Zone 2 (8.8 acres): Landscapes simulating tropical rainforests, deserts, grasslands, and wetlands.
  • Zone 3 (5.5 acres): Features near the Okhla Bird Sanctuary, recreating islands, oceans, temperate forests, and polar regions.

Additionally, the park will have children’s play areas, picnic zones, souvenir shops, outdoor seating, and a dedicated food court. Two entry points—from Dalit Prerna Sthal and Sector 94 Metro Station—will make the site easily accessible.

Entry and Future Plans

The park will open to the public with an entry fee of ₹100 per visitor. The agency responsible for construction will also manage operations and maintenance, collecting ticket revenue while sharing profits with the Noida Authority.

Future developments in Phase 2 include adventure and recreational activities such as zip-lining, bungee jumping, trampolines, rope climbing, rock climbing, zip cycling, and a first-of-its-kind jungle night safari in the NCR, to be explored via battery-operated e-carts.

Officials said the project not only adds a unique leisure destination to Noida but also sets an example of eco-friendly urban development by creatively reusing waste materials.
