
In a significant development under the Central Vista Redevelopment Project, nine major ministries and departments of the Government of India have been allocated newly constructed office spaces within the Common Central Secretariat Building-03 (CCS-03), located along the iconic Kartavya Path.Common Central Secretariat Complex
The transition from the aging infrastructure of Shastri Bhawan, Krishi Bhawan, Nirman Bhawan, and Vigyan Bhawan — as well as the historically significant North and South Blocks — marks a major step toward a unified and modern administrative ecosystem. The shift will occur in a phased manner to ensure operational continuity.

Smooth Relocation Plans in Place
To facilitate a seamless transition, the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has established a Facilitation Centre within the complex. This centre will guide the ministries and departments through every aspect of relocation — from inventories and layout familiarisation to service functionalities, safety features, and parking logistics.Common Central Secretariat Complex
All concerned departments have been instructed to appoint nodal officers who will coordinate with the Facilitation Centre and oversee the relocation process effectively.
Central Vista: A Vision of Administrative Unity
The Central Vista redevelopment initiative aims to centralize government offices, enhance energy efficiency, and offer a technologically advanced working environment. The relocation to CCS-03 is one of the first major operational transitions under this plan, symbolising a new era in administrative governance and infrastructure modernisation.
