Professionals aspiring to become Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Certified Energy Auditors (Buildings) can now register for a specialised 3-Day Training Programme being organised by the CII–Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). Scheduled from 17–19 August 2026 at the CII Green Business Centre, Hyderabad, the classroom programme is designed to strengthen participants’ technical knowledge and prepare them for the BEE Certified Energy Auditor (Buildings) Examination 2026.
According to CII–IGBC, the programme will provide comprehensive coverage of the BEE examination syllabus through expert-led sessions, practical case studies, interactive discussions, and examination-oriented guidance. The initiative aims to equip participants with the knowledge required to improve building energy efficiency and promote sustainable building practices.
The curriculum includes key aspects of energy management and energy auditing, energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings, Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) and Energy Conservation and Sustainability Guidelines (ECSG) compliance, building physics, HVAC systems, lighting and electrical systems, renewable energy integration, water efficiency, building automation, and green building and climate-responsive design.
The training is intended for energy managers, energy auditors, architects, building services engineers, HVAC, electrical and mechanical engineers, facility managers, sustainability professionals, energy consultants, MEP consultants, building owners, developers, and candidates preparing for the BEE Energy Auditor (Buildings) examination.
The programme will be conducted daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The participation fee is ₹15,000 per participant (inclusive of GST). CII–IGBC has also announced a special group offer, where registration of four participants entitles the organisation to one complimentary registration.
The BEE National Examination (Energy Auditor – Buildings) is scheduled to be held from 25–27 September 2026, making this training a timely opportunity for professionals seeking certification in building energy auditing.
