The Directorate of Museums, Government of Gujarat, has issued a tender notice inviting interested bidders for the empanelment of design and technical agencies for the restoration and upgradation of various State Museums across the state. The initiative aims to enhance museum infrastructure and improve the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage.
According to the notice issued by the Directorate of Museums, located at Abhilekhagaar Bhavan in Sector-17, Gandhinagar, the selected agencies will be responsible for providing design consultancy and technical expertise for restoration works, modernization, and infrastructure improvements in multiple museums under the department.
The empanelment process is expected to bring qualified design professionals, architects, conservation specialists, and technical agencies into the state’s heritage conservation initiatives. The move aligns with broader efforts to strengthen cultural institutions and improve visitor experience at museums in Gujarat.
Interested bidders can download the bid documents from the official procurement portal https://tender.nprocure.com starting 11 March 2026. The last date for submission of the online bid is 2 April 2026 by 18:00 hours, while the hard copies of the bid documents must be submitted by 4 April 2026 before 18:00 hours.
