The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) has been appointed by the Noida Authority to prepare Noida’s first City Logistics Plan (CLP), a strategic initiative aimed at improving urban freight movement, easing traffic congestion, and reducing environmental impact across the city SPA to draft Noida.
The CLP will focus on developing efficient, sustainable, and climate-friendly logistics systems, addressing challenges related to last-mile delivery, freight traffic management, and sector-wise transport inefficiencies. Key Objectives of the City Logistics Plan

- Analysis of freight movement across transport modes
- Examination of land-use plans to identify freight-generating zones

Sector-Focused Planning and Replicability
Based on these inputs, the CLP will focus on three high-impact sectors, mapping supply chains, vehicle movement patterns, parking and safety issues, logistics costs, and operational bottlenecks.
