A wide range of disciplines including Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Sciences, Humanities, and emerging areas such as Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. candidates opting for two-paper combinations are advised to carefully review their session timings and centre details once hall tickets are issued.

Examination Centres Across India

Examination centres spread across all states and union territories under different IIT and IISc zones. Candidates were allowed to choose three preferred cities within a single zone; however, the final allotment will be subject to administrative feasibility.

Foreign nationals and Indian citizens residing abroad are appearing for the examination by selecting centres within India and making independent travel arrangements.

Admit Cards and Important Instructions

The GATE 2026 admit cards are expected to be made available in the coming weeks. Candidates will be required to carry:

  • A printed copy of the admit card
  • A valid original photo identity proof (as uploaded during application)

Any mismatch in personal details or identity documents may lead to disqualification at the examination centre.
