According to the meeting announcement issued by the IIA Northern Chapter, the GBM will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conference Room, India Islamic Cultural Centre, 87–88 Lodhi Road, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi – 110003.

The meeting marks an important organisational milestone for the Northern Chapter as the newly elected leadership begins its 2026–2028 term. The Indian Institute of Architects, established in 1917, is the national professional body representing architects in India and operates through chapters, centres and sub-centres across the country. The IIA’s official website lists the Northern Chapter among its constituent chapters.

The IIA’s bye-laws provide for a First General Body Meeting following elections, with the meeting serving, among other purposes, to formally report election results and conduct other notified business.

The Northern Chapter has requested all its members to make it convenient to attend the meeting. The announcement has been issued by Ar. Rohit Jain and Ar. Suditya Sinha, Joint Honorary Secretaries.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for members to participate in the chapter’s formal proceedings and engage with the activities and direction of the new 2026–2028 term.
