The Council of Architecture (COA), in collaboration with the MMM’s College of Architecture (MMCOA) Alumni Committee, Pune, is organising a five-day Online Faculty Training Program 2026 titled “Practice to Pedagogy: Insights from Professional Avenues for the Design Studio.” The programme will be held from 10 to 14 August 2026, from 10:30 am to 1:45 pm each day.

The training programme is designed to create a platform for knowledge exchange between architectural academia and professional practice. Through expert sessions by distinguished MMCOA alumni, the programme seeks to strengthen industry–academia collaboration while enhancing professional competencies among architecture faculty members and practising professionals.

According to the programme brief, the training will provide participants with exposure to contemporary architectural practice and emerging trends, along with insights into innovation, technology, sustainability, entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary approaches. The organisers expect these professional perspectives to contribute to improved teaching practices, curriculum development, professional practice and student preparedness.

Five-Day Programme

The programme features 15 speakers, with each day focusing on a specific area of architectural practice:
