New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has announced admissions for the academic session 2026–27, inviting applications from aspiring women professionals in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, and Technology.
Among the programmes of particular interest to architecture and engineering aspirants are the Master of Planning (M.Plan – Urban Planning), Master of Technology (M.Tech), and Ph.D. programmes offered by the university.
The M.Plan (Urban Planning) programme offers 13 seats and admissions will be based on GATE scores or marks obtained in the qualifying degree. The programme is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in urban planning, sustainable development, transportation planning, housing, infrastructure, and smart city development.
For engineering graduates, IGDTUW is offering 104 seats across various M.Tech specializations, including:
- Computer Science & Engineering (25 seats)
- Artificial Intelligence (25 seats)
- Data Science (25 seats)
- Cyber Security (18 seats)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering – VLSI (11 seats)
Admissions to M.Tech programmes will be conducted through GATE scores and qualifying degree performance.
The university is also inviting applications for its Ph.D. programme, with 125 seats available in disciplines including Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Management. Selection will be based on an admission test followed by an interview.
According to the admission schedule released by the university, applications for Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes opened on June 1, 2026, while the last date to apply is June 22, 2026.
