GRIHA Launches Training Programme Series on Effective Documentation for Green Building Ratings

The GRIHA has announced the next phase of its Training Programme Series on “Guide to Effective Documentation”, aimed at strengthening practical documentation skills for consultants and professionals working on GRIHA-registered projects. Following the successful conclusion of the GRIHA v.2015 module, the upcoming sessions will focus on GRIHA for Existing Buildings and SVAGRIHA rating variants Training Programme Series on.

Pathway to GRIHA Empanelled Consultant

Completion of all three programmes—GRIHA for Existing Buildings, and SVAGRIHA—supports eligibility for becoming a GRIHA Empanelled Consultant, subject to meeting the following criteria:

  1. Consulting experience in at least five GRIHA projects, with a minimum of three rated projects.
  2. Employment of at least four GRIHA Accredited Professionals (GRIHA Certified Professionals or Evaluators).

This acknowledgement is valid solely for empanelment eligibility.

Participation Guidelines

Participants joining online must ensure a stable internet connection with power backup. Audio and video access is mandatory, and cameras must remain switched on during sessions. For registration assistance, participants may contact events@grihaindia.org.

The programme is expected to benefit sustainability consultants, architects, and built-environment professionals seeking deeper clarity on GRIHA documentation and compliance processes.
