Sant Nirankari Samagam 2025 Begins at Samalkha, Creating a Temporary City for 15 Lakh Devotee

The grand annual Sant Nirankari Samagam has commenced at Samalkha, Haryana, drawing over 15 lakh devotees from across India and abroad. Spread across an expansive 979 acres, the Samagam site has been transformed into a self-sustained temporary city, showcasing exceptional organization, infrastructure, and environmental management.

The massive venue is meticulously divided into multiple temporary blocks, each designed to accommodate nearly 4 lakh devotees. Every block is equipped with five large canteens, toilet complexes, and dedicated stay areas — ensuring smooth and comfortable arrangements for participants throughout the spiritual congregation.

A major highlight of this year’s event is its eco-conscious infrastructure. The site operates with an integrated waste management system supported by a 55 million litre per day (MLD) capacity water lagoon, designed to process and recycle wastewater efficiently. Over 15,000 toilets have been installed across the venue, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for all visitors.

The main congregation area, where discourses and spiritual sessions take place, is covered with a tensile structure supported by a metal truss system, providing both shade and ventilation for thousands of devotees. Surrounding blocks are designed as lightweight temporary structures constructed using metal frames and fabric coverings, connected by mud roads that make navigation within the vast site easier.

What truly stands out is the scale and sustainability of this transformation — from a vast open land into a fully functional, self-contained city. Power supply, water distribution, sanitation, accommodation, and food services have all been efficiently planned and executed with the support of thousands of volunteers.

The Sant Nirankari Samagam continues to symbolize the message of human unity, peace, and selfless service, drawing millions who come together to celebrate faith, discipline, and community spirit. With meticulous planning and large-scale collaboration, the Samalkha venue once again demonstrates how devotion and organization can coexist harmoniously on a monumental scale.
