Bhopal: The Department of Transport Planning at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal, has announced an Online Executive Training Program on Airport Design, Planning, and Management, scheduled to be held from December 11 to 27, 2025.
This specialized program is designed for industry professionals, academicians, and students seeking to strengthen their understanding of contemporary airport systems and operational strategies. The curriculum encompasses critical aspects of airport design, strategic planning, management, and operations, integrating both theoretical and applied perspectives.
Comprehensive Course Structure
The program covers five major modules:
- Airport Design: Capacity assessment, airside and terminal design, landside planning, and passenger flow simulation.
- Airport Operations: Safety systems, technology integration, and risk management.
- Airport Strategic Planning: Policy frameworks, sustainability, and market dynamics.
- Air Transport Market Analysis: Demand forecasting, cargo logistics, and scenario planning.
- Applied Safety and Human Factors: Human performance, safety management, and accident investigation.
