Bhopal, India: The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal, through its Department of Building Engineering and Management (BEM), is set to host the 1st International Conference on Building Engineering and Management (ICBEM 2025) on November 3–4, 2025.
This landmark event will bring together academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners to explore innovations, challenges, and opportunities in the fields of building engineering, sustainable construction, and project management.
Conference Themes & Special Focus
ICBEM 2025 will address four major themes shaping the future of construction and urban development:
- Modern Methods in Building Engineering – AI in construction, robotics, computational design, BIM, lifecycle management, and advanced materials.
- Sustainable Design and Construction Practices – green building certifications, renewable energy use, waste reduction strategies, circular economy models, and eco-friendly urban design.
- Advancements in Construction Management Practices – digital twins, AI/ML in project management, disaster risk analysis, smart tools integration, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Urban Infrastructure Project Challenges & Management Innovations – smart city infrastructure, climate resilience, PPPs, construction waste management, and large-scale project financing.
