The city benefits from multi-modal connectivity, including the Samruddhi Mahamarg, proposed Sambhajinagar–Pune Greenfield Expressway, Jalna Dry Port, proximity to Aurangabad Airport, and strong rail links. Its integration into the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) further enhances its role as a national and global manufacturing hub.
A Vision for the Future
Speaking on the milestone, Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD of NICDC, noted that AURIC embodies the vision of creating “future-ready hubs of manufacturing, sustainability, and inclusive growth.”
Since its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 7, 2019, AURIC has become a model for industrial townships, aligning with Maharashtra’s $1 trillion economy vision for 2030 and India’s larger goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
