Haryana Government Invites Public Objections on Revised Sectoral Plan for Sector-16, Nilokheri–Taraori under Development Plan 2041

The Directorate of Town and Country Planning, Haryana has issued a public notice inviting objections and suggestions from citizens on the revision of the Sectoral Plan of Sector-16 (Residential, Commercial, and Public Utility) under the Final Development Plan-2041 AD for Nilokheri–Taraori, District Karnal.

According to official communication dated 22 January 2026, the Government of Haryana has granted in-principle approval for revising the sectoral plan. The proposed revision aims to align land use planning with future growth requirements, infrastructure demand, and public utility provisions envisaged under the long-term development framework of the region.

Public Participation Window Open for 30 Days

As part of the statutory planning process, the Town and Country Planning Department has opened a 30-day window from the date of publication of the notice for filing objections. Any individual, stakeholder, or institution having concerns regarding the proposed revision may submit objections in writing to:

Objections received after the stipulated period will not be entertained, as per departmental norms.

Revised Plans Available Online

The department has uploaded:

  • The earlier approved sectoral plan, and
  • The proposed revised sectoral plan

on its official website www.tcpharyana.gov.in for public reference. This ensures transparency and enables informed participation by residents, planners, developers, and professionals.

Next Steps in Approval Process

After the 30-day objection period ends, the Office of STP, Panchkula will examine all submissions on merit. Its comments and recommendations will then be forwarded to the headquarters within 15 days for final decision by the Directorate.
