Government Invites Nominations for National Awards for e-Governance 2026

New Delhi: The Government of India has invited nominations for the National Awards for e-Governance 2026, an annual initiative recognizing excellence in the implementation of e-Governance across the country. The awards are presented by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

The awards aim to encourage innovative digital governance practices that enhance transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric service delivery. Nominations are open to Central Ministries and Departments, State and UT Governments, District Administrations, Local Bodies, Panchayats, Central and State PSUs, Academic and Research Institutions, and startups — including both government and non-government entities.

Entries will be considered under seven categories, as outlined in the official Award Scheme, available on the National Centre for Good Governance (NCEG) website — www.nceg.gov.in.

The nomination window opened on October 6, 2025, and all entries must be submitted online by November 30, 2025. Submissions via email, post, or courier will not be accepted. Editing or updating entries is permitted until the submission deadline.
