Educational Qualification
Draftsman (Civil)
- Two-year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from a Government-recognized institute.
Works Supervisor
- Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board/institute.
- ITI Certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry Trade, issued by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Technical Education (JKBOTE) or the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Government of India.
Selection Process
Selection for all advertised posts will be based solely on merit in the written/OMR examination.
The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions in English, with negative marking of one-fourth (0.25) marks for every incorrect answer.
Age Limit (As on 1 January 2026)
- Open Merit (OM): Maximum 40 years
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/RBA/ALC-IB/EWS): Maximum 43 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Maximum 42 years
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be applicable as per Government rules.
Application Fee
- General Category: ₹600
- SC/ST-1/ST-2/EWS/PwBD: ₹500
The application fee must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Possess a valid domicile certificate on or before the application closing date.
- Meet the prescribed educational qualifications before the last date of application.
