IGNCA Recruitment 2026 for Consultant Senior Engineer in New Delhi

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, an autonomous Trust under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications for one post of Consultant (Senior Engineer) on a purely contractual basis.

Position

Consultant (Senior Engineer) — 1 Post

Eligibility

  • Retired from CPWD/CWD/MES/NDMC/State Government/Autonomous Bodies as a Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer or Senior Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 20 years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Consultant will:

  • Oversee IGNCA’s capital works, operation and maintenance works.
  • Represent IGNCA in projects planned and executed by CPWD.
  • Ensure efficient and timely execution of projects.
  • Coordinate effectively between IGNCA and CPWD.
  • Plan and execute operation and maintenance works through contracts.
  • Advise on procedures and practices for transparent tendering and award of works.

Remuneration

₹70,000 per month
Negotiable depending on work experience.

Contract Period

One year.

Age Limit

Candidates should be not more than 62 years of age on the date of publication of the advertisement on the website.

Selection Process

Screening of applications followed by a personal interview.
