Gurugram, Haryana: The three-day 18th Urban Mobility India 2025 (UMI) Conference & Exhibition 2025 concludes successfully in Gurugram, marking a significant step toward shaping the future of sustainable and inclusive mobility in India. The event witnesses participation from over 1,600 delegates, 170 speakers, and 25 exhibitors representing eight countries, reflecting the growing global collaboration in the urban transport sector.

PM e-Bus Sewa Logo and Website Launched
The valedictory session features the launch of the logo and official website of the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme by Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and Power. The event is graced by Shri Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, along with several senior officials from the Government of India and the Government of Haryana.

Across conclave, plenary, and technical sessions, experts deliberate on sustainable mobility, financing mechanisms, non-motorized transport, and integrated multimodal systems. In his address, Shri Manohar Lal emphasizes the need for advance mobility planning in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, ensuring that future urban centres are well-connected and future-ready.
He also advocates expanding the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) beyond Delhi–NCR to metropolitan regions like Chennai, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Highlighting inclusivity, he suggests that metro authorities explore premium travel options to attract diverse commuters and promote financial sustainability in public transport.

The conference concludes with the prestigious Urban Transport Awards 2025, recognizing innovative and sustainable mobility practices across Indian cities.

In a key announcement, Bhubaneswar is declared as the host city for the 19th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference & Exhibition 2026, scheduled from 23rd to 25th October 2026.
