BMTPC webinar to Host 7th Webinar on Low-Cost Bamboo Housing and BRM Wall Systems

The Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council (BMTPC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, continues its efforts to promote sustainable, cost-effective, and disaster-resilient construction practices across the country. As the national-level organization facilitating the transfer of innovative building materials and technologies from lab to land, BMTPC plays a key role in advancing environmentally responsible housing solutions.

As part of its mandate to build professional capacities, BMTPC regularly organizes training programmes, workshops, and webinars on emerging construction technologies, good construction practices, green and sustainable building methods, and disaster-resistant design.

In alignment with the objectives of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0, BMTPC has launched an ongoing Webinar Series on “Innovative Building Materials and Technologies for Thermally Comfortable Green Buildings.” The series is designed to support States, Union Territories, and other stakeholders in adopting modern, innovative, and green construction technologies for faster, high-quality housing delivery.

7th Session of the Webinar Series

Following the success of the earlier sessions, BMTPC is organizing the 7th webinar in the series, focusing on the use of bamboo-based construction systems as a sustainable and affordable housing solution.

The webinar series is expected to benefit State Government officials, architects, engineers, developers, professionals, students, and other stakeholders involved in housing policy, planning, design, and execution.

All registered participants will be awarded certificates of participation after the session.
