17th GRIHA Summit 2025 to Champion Climate-Resilient Innovation and Action

New Delhi: The 17th edition of the GRIHA Summit 2025, themed “Innovate to Act for a Climate Resilient World,” is set to convene at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, from 3rd to 4th November 2025. Organized by GRIHA Council and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), the annual summit serves as a premier national platform to translate climate ambition into tangible action across India’s built environment.

The 17th GRIHA Summit 2025, themed “Innovate to Act for a Climate Resilient World,” will bring together 50+ experts at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on November 3–4 to advance sustainable and low-carbon innovation in India’s built environment.

The two-day summit will host 50+ eminent speakers, 8+ technical sessions, and 3 specialized exhibit pavilions, uniting architects, policymakers, engineers, urban planners, researchers, investors, and academia to accelerate India’s low-carbon and climate-resilient transformation.

Focus Areas and Themes

This year’s summit will delve into four key thematic tracks:

  1. Water Security and Resource Optimisation – Exploring innovative strategies for efficient water management.
  2. Decarbonising Construction – Promoting sustainable materials and low-emission supply chains.
  3. Urban Air Quality Mitigation – Integrating policy, planning, and technology to address pollution.
  4. Circularity in Cities and Industries – Transforming waste into regenerative opportunities for sustainability.

Engaging Exhibitions

Three immersive exhibit pavilions will complement the discussions:

  • Nirmaan Design Pavilion: Featuring climate-responsive architectural entries from the Nirmaan competition.
  • Industry Advancement Gallery: Showcasing cutting-edge sustainable materials and technologies.
  • BIPV Pavilion: A live, full-scale Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) model demonstrating solar-active facades in real time.

A Platform for Change

With the built environment accounting for a major share of global emissions and resource use, the 17th GRIHA Summit aims to foster action-oriented partnerships and scalable innovations that strengthen climate resilience. It encourages participants to engage with market leaders, explore tools and technologies, and contribute toward net-zero, nature-positive pathways for India’s cities and infrastructure systems.
