‘ROOTS 2026’ International Student Colloquium on Sustainable Design from 15–17 April 2026

The DIT University has announced the upcoming “ROOTS 2026 – Responsive Orientation of Organic Traditional Systems”, a three-day International Students’ Colloquium scheduled from 15–17 April 2026 at its Dehradun campus.

Organised jointly by the School of Architecture & Planning and the School of Design, the event aims to create a global academic platform focusing on sustainable, resilient, and context-responsive design approaches, particularly within the Himalayan region.

The colloquium is being conducted in collaboration with prominent knowledge and industry partners, including:

  • Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
  • National Institute of Urban Affairs
  • RUBICO IT
