New Delhi: The IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA), has announced a global Call for Abstracts for its upcoming Casebook on the Real-World Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Energy. Innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and energy-tech leaders are invited to submit their abstracts by 21 November 2025.

The initiative aims to spotlight cutting-edge AI applications in the energy sector, offering global visibility to impactful projects and solutions. This casebook will serve as a curated repository of practical, scalable, and transformative AI implementations that support sustainable energy transitions—especially aligned with the needs and priorities of the Global South.
A Platform for Global Innovation
Jointly developed by IndiaAI and IEA, the casebook seeks to gather outstanding AI-driven solutions deployed across sectors such as smart grids, renewable energy forecasting, energy efficiency, demand management, mobility, and industrial optimization.
Selected entries will be showcased to a global audience comprising policymakers, researchers, energy sector experts, and industry leaders. Authors of shortlisted abstracts will be invited to contribute full chapters to the publication.

- Last Date for Abstract Submission: 21 November 2025
- Chapter Drafting Period: December 2025
- Casebook Launch: 19–20 February 2026 at the India-AI Impact Summit in New Delhi
