The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has announced the 11th India International Dance & Music Festival, scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 January 2026 at Baansera Park, Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi. The three-day cultural celebration will bring together renowned dance and music artists from India and across the world, reinforcing cultural exchange through the performing arts.
Organised as an open-to-all public event, the festival aims to highlight the universality of music and dance as shared global languages. According to ICCR, the event will feature a diverse range of classical, contemporary, and folk performances, offering audiences an immersive experience of international artistic traditions.
Each evening, performances will take place between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm, transforming Baansera Park into a vibrant cultural arena. The venue, located along the Yamuna riverfront, has increasingly emerged as a prominent public space for large-scale cultural and community events in the national capital.
One of the key highlights of the festival is free entry, making it accessible to students, professionals, families, and art enthusiasts alike. ICCR has encouraged citizens to mark their calendars and participate in what it describes as a “global celebration of rhythm, movement, and harmony.”
The India International Dance & Music Festival has, over the years, become a flagship cultural event under ICCR’s mandate to promote mutual understanding and cultural dialogue between India and other nations. The 11th edition is expected to further strengthen these ties by showcasing artistic excellence from multiple countries on a single platform.
