DDA’s Flower Show “Palash Mahotsav 2026” to Celebrate Green Revival Across Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, is set to organise DDA’s Flower Show – Palash Mahotsav 2026 from 14 to 16 February 2026, inviting citizens to experience nature, biodiversity, and sustainability across four major green spaces in the capital.

Open daily from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, the festival aims to reconnect people with ecological values through curated landscapes, thematic gardens, cultural activities, and community participation.

Four Thematic Venues, One Green Vision

Neerangan Yamuna – Yamuna’s Green Revival

Location: Baanshera, Birsa Munda Chowk
This flagship venue highlights ecological restoration along the Yamuna floodplain. Visitors can explore marigold flower beds, innovative water pods, sensory landscapes, musical fountains, solar-powered installations, bamboo arch trails, and eco-awareness exhibits such as the Brown to Green and Boond ka Safar trails.

Virasat-e-Hariyali – Honouring Our Roots, Planting Our Future

Location: Ashoka Garden, Ashok Vihar Phase IV
Focused on Delhi’s green and cultural heritage, this zone blends tradition with nature through heritage floral arches, illuminated “Tree of Delhi,” floral rangoli, interactive heritage maps, chai bagh, and cultural pathways.

Jeevantarang Van – Jeevant Prakriti: Biodiversity in Bloom

Location: Smriti Van, Narela
Dedicated to biodiversity and conservation, the venue features biodiversity-themed floral gates, experiential installations, mandala art rangoli, floral tunnels, balcony gardening learning zones, and interactive nature exhibits.

Hariyali Sangam – Community & Nature in Harmony

Location: Lala Hardayal Park, Jasola
Celebrating community life within green urban spaces, this venue offers mural gates, playful green courts, cafés, green walkways, wellness zones, seed corners, and eco-awareness streets.
Inauguration: Shri Harsh Malhotra, Hon’ble MP, East Delhi, NCT of Delhi

Activities, Competitions & Public Engagement

Across all four locations, visitors can participate in:

  • Competitions: Painting, flower rangoli, pottery making, pot decoration, singing, dancing, hula hoop, flower bracelet making, and “Guess the Flower Name”.
  • Activities: Sustainability pledge wall, live music, cultural performances, kids’ zones, food stalls, and flower-inspired creative workshops.

A Festival for Nature, Culture & the City

Palash Mahotsav 2026 positions itself as more than a flower show—it is a citywide celebration of environmental responsibility, heritage, and inclusive public spaces. With free public access at all venues, the event reinforces Delhi’s commitment to sustainable urban development and ecological awareness.
