Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, interacted with students at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as part of the Bharat Sampark – Engaging India’s Young Minds initiative.

During the interactive session, students discussed technology adoption, innovation, logistics, and opportunities for youth participation in public institutions. The Minister encouraged students to actively contribute to nation-building and public service reforms.

Highlighting India Post’s transformation, Scindia said the department is undergoing major technological and organisational upgrades under the IT 2.0 modernisation programme. He noted its expanding role in logistics, digital services, and financial inclusion, particularly across Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural regions, and invited students to collaborate through internships and live projects.
The Minister also visited the newly revamped N-Gen Campus Post Office at IIT Delhi and reviewed student-led innovations in tactile internet and haptic robotics, reinforcing India’s push towards a deep-tech and skills-driven digital ecosystem.
