SPA New Delhi to Hold 43rd Convocation Ceremony on January 4, 2025

The School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (SPA New Delhi), an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, will organise its 43rd Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, January 4, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The convocation will be graced by Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, Government of India, who will attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

Two distinguished personalities will participate as Guests of Honour: Avinash Chandra Pandey, Director, Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, and Anand Kumar, IAS (Retd.), Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

The convocation proceedings will be presided over by Habeeb Khan, Chairman, Board of Governors, SPA Delhi. The institute’s Annual Report will be presented by Virendra Kumar Paul, Director, SPA New Delhi.

Ahead of the main ceremony, a Rehearsal Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2025, from 10:00 am onwards at the Architecture Auditorium, SPA New Delhi campus.

The convocation marks a significant academic milestone for graduating students from the fields of architecture, planning, and design, reaffirming SPA New Delhi’s role in shaping future professionals and leaders in the built environment sector.
