Designed specifically for India’s rapidly expanding metro networks, this framework provides guidelines to evaluate and enhance the environmental performance of metro stations. It emphasizes sustainable construction practices, efficient resource use, climate-responsive design, and improved commuter experience — all tailored to Indian climatic conditions and urban contexts.

The newly introduced tool aims to support metro authorities and planners in adopting greener practices while contributing to national sustainability goals.
