Goa, India: The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate (ENVS) at its Coastal Ecology and Marine Resources Centre, Goa. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful environmental research focused on sustainability, marine resources, and ecological management.

Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for preparing research proposals, reports, and publications; conducting both field-based and lab-based research; executing environmental monitoring and surveys; managing datasets using tools like R, Python, and GIS; and engaging with partner organizations including government bodies, NGOs, and communities. The role also involves travel depending on project requirements.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Waste Management, Sustainability and Environmental Solutions, or equivalent. Knowledge of RS/GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, GEE), Python, and environmental modelling is preferred. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, while ESG certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
Candidates with 1–3 years of research experience are preferred. However, freshers with relevant dissertation work during their postgraduate studies are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and a strong interest in environmental research and fieldwork.
