CPRG has announced the successful hosting of the Nagari – Future Cities Conclave on December 1, 2025, at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Mumbai. Serving as an official pre-summit dialogue to the upcoming India-AI Impact Summit 2026, the event convened leading policymakers, urban experts, technology innovators and industry leaders to reflect on the future of India’s cities.
Structured as a collaborative platform, the conclave brought together stakeholders from across the urban innovation ecosystem to share insights, address current planning challenges and formulate long-term strategies for building resilient, sustainable and people-centric cities. Senior representatives from the Income Tax Department, Delhi Development Authority, Institute of Town Planners of India, JSW Steel, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hiranandani Group and several other institutions actively contributed to the discussions, offering diverse perspectives from governance, academia, industry and finance.
Dialogue sessions explored how emerging technologies—particularly AI, automation and data-driven governance—can strengthen city systems and enhance service delivery. The conclave focused on critical themes such as:
- AI-enabled governance and digital infrastructure for urban transformation
- Climate-resilient and sustainable development pathways
- Indigenous, context-specific planning solutions
- Mobility planning, land-use reforms and updated regulatory frameworks
- Job creation, economic opportunity and future-ready skill ecosystems
As part of CPRG’s wider Future of Society initiative, the insights generated during the conclave will serve as key inputs for shaping the agenda of the India-AI Impact Summit 2026.
