The Council of Architecture Training and Research Centre (COA-TRC), in collaboration with SEDRAA’s Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur, is organising a five-day online training programme titled “Innovation in AI & its Application in Architecture & Design” from September 7 to 11, 2026.
The programme is designed specifically for teachers and architects and will explore the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in architecture and design education, professional practice, planning, construction, research and academic workflows.
Focus of the Programme
According to the programme details issued by COA-TRC, the training will introduce participants to the foundations of AI, design thinking, visual representation, planning and construction workflows, climate-responsive decision-making, research assistance and AI ethics.
The five-day programme will cover a different theme each day:
- Day 1: Foundations of AI in Architecture and Design
- Day 2: Design Thinking and Representation with AI
- Day 3: AI in Planning, Construction and Climate Response
- Day 4: AI for Research and Academic Workflows
- Day 5: AI in Practice, Ethics and Closing Session
The organisers said the programme aims to help teachers and architects understand the opportunities, limitations and responsible use of AI through expert sessions and guided learning.
Expert Sessions
The panel of guest speakers includes Dr. Bibhu Kalyan Nayak, Associate Professor, Manipal University, Jaipur; Dr. Siddhartha Koduru, Professor, Anant National University, Ahmedabad; Ar. Kaushal Anchalía, Computational Design Manager, Metaguise, Gurugram; Ar. Mayank Sinha, Founder & CEO, Mayavarta, Jaipur; Dr. Tarun Verma, Assistant Professor, MNIT Jaipur; Er. Amit Kakkar, Chief Engineer, PWD Jaipur; Dr. Deepak Verma, Associate Professor, MNIT Jaipur; and Ar. Nitin Gupta, Founder & CEO, Vavetak AI, New Delhi.
Sessions will cover subjects ranging from AI foundations and ethics in architecture and AI-enabled design pedagogy to computational design, immersive architecture, site and climate response, planning and construction workflows, literature review and current AI applications.

Schedule and Registration
The online programme will be held from September 7–11, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:15 pm each day. The End of Programme Test (EOPT) is scheduled for September 11, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
The last date for registration is September 4, 2026. The registration fee is ₹1,500.
Teachers and architects can register through the QR code provided in the official programme material. Participants are required to upload proof of payment and, where applicable, the nomination form on college letterhead while submitting the registration form.
The organisers have clarified that the programme is not open to students. An e-certificate will be issued to participants who successfully complete the training, including attendance at all sessions and submission of the required assignments, EOPT and feedback form.
