Uttar Pradesh Invites Proposals for GIS-Based Master Plan Formulation under AMRUT 2.0

The Government of Uttar Pradesh, through its State Mission Directorate, has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) and quotation for consultancy services related to the preparation of GIS-based Master Plans for AMRUT 2.0 cities across the state.

The initiative aims to strengthen urban planning and development by adopting Geographic Information System (GIS)-based planning methods for cities under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 programme. The project will be undertaken in accordance with key state legislations, including the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, the Uttar Pradesh Regulation and Building Operations Act, 1958, the Uttar Pradesh Special Area Development Authorities (SADA) Act, 1986, and the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916.

According to the tender notice, proposals have been invited from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), autonomous bodies, organisations, consultancy firms, and consortiums possessing relevant experience and infrastructure capabilities.

The tender has been issued under the authority of the Chief Town and Country Planner, Uttar Pradesh, and the State Mission Director, AMRUT Uttar Pradesh.
