The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, under its Department of Physical Planning, has issued a vacancy notification for the post of Project Associate (Contractual) for an ongoing research project titled “Strengthening of Urban Planning Systems and Development with Focus on Small Towns in Uttar Pradesh.” As per the official notice dated 26 February 2026, the position is based in Lucknow and offers a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹45,000. The institute has invited applications from eligible candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning (B.Plan/B.Tech Planning) or B.Planning with M.Planning/Integrated M.Planning, or a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Technology/Engineering with a Master’s in Planning, or a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Geography/Sociology with a Master’s Degree in Planning. Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning, while no prior work experience is required. Interested candidates are required to submit their CV and certificates via email to upcapacitybuilding@gmail.com on or before 12 March 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email. The selected candidate will be required to remain associated with the project for a minimum period of three months after joining.
