Who Can Apply
The award is open to:
- Governments
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Academia & research institutions
- International organizations
- Private sector partners
- Individuals
Submissions must demonstrate measurable impact, innovation, and potential for replication in other contexts and regions.
Recognition & Benefits for Winners
Awardees will:
- Share a prize fund of USD 1 million
- Present their winning practice at the World Governments Summit 2026
- Be featured in the Urban Best Practices Database
- Gain international visibility through UN-Habitat and Dubai Municipality platforms
