The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, through the Building Materials and Technology Promotion Council (BMTPC), is organising Webinar #6 as part of its ongoing Webinar Series on “Innovative Building Materials and Technologies for Thermally Comfortable Green Buildings.”
Titled “Advancing Climate and Energy Solutions in the Built Environment,” the virtual webinar will be held on December 24, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, and will focus on emerging strategies, materials, and technologies that support climate-responsive and energy-efficient building practices.
The session will feature expert talks by Dr. Priyanka Kochhar, Founder and CEO of The Habitat Emprise, New Delhi, and Dr. Gaurav Bhatiani, Senior Fellow at the Ashoka Centre for a People-Centric Energy Transition and Visiting Professor at ISB. Both speakers are expected to share insights on sustainable construction approaches, energy transition frameworks, and innovative solutions shaping the future of green buildings in India.
Participation in the webinar requires prior registration, and all registered participants will receive an e-certificate upon completion of the session. The programme is aimed at architects, planners, engineers, researchers, policymakers, students, and professionals engaged in sustainable built environment practices.
The webinar will be conducted online, and registered participants will receive joining details prior to the event.
