COA–TRC Pune & IIEST Shibpur Announce 5-Day Online Training on Materials and Construction Techniques in Architecture

The Council of Architecture Training & Research Centre Pune in collaboration with the Department of Architecture & Planning, IIEST Shibpur is organizing a 5-Day Online Training Programme titled “Materials and Construction Techniques in Architecture – Today & Tomorrow” from 23rd to 27th February 2026, scheduled daily from 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM.

The structured five-day curriculum addresses critical domains shaping present and future architectural practice:

  • Day 1 (23 Feb 2026): Contemporary Building Materials & Construction Techniques
  • Day 2 (24 Feb 2026): Advanced Materials & Megastructures
  • Day 3 (25 Feb 2026): Interior Design Practice – Materials & Techniques
  • Day 4 (26 Feb 2026): Application of BIM in Architectural & Interior Practice (Hands-on Tutorial)
  • Day 5 (27 Feb 2026): Heritage Conservation – Materials & Techniques
  • End of Programme Test (EoPT): 27 February, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Total 45 Marks)

The sessions will also include a BIM-based hands-on exercise, requiring participants to use a laptop or desktop system.
