The Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning – Post Graduate (JAAP-PG) 2026 has announced a Special Round of Admissions for vacant postgraduate seats at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, Bhopal, and Vijayawada for the academic session 2026–27.

The special round is being conducted after the completion of three rounds of counselling to fill remaining vacancies across various postgraduate programmes. The online registration process will commence on 3 June 2026 and remain open until 8 June 2026 through the official JAAP-PG portal.
A notable feature of this round is that candidates without a valid GATE, CEED, or UGC-NET (JRF) score are also eligible to apply, expanding opportunities for a larger pool of applicants. Selection will be based on performance in the qualifying examination, valid entrance scores (where applicable), physical interaction, and relevant work experience.
Candidates who have already registered in previous rounds are not required to register again but must complete the remaining admission formalities. Fresh applicants will need to pay the prescribed registration and participation fees.
The notification also states that applicants must have secured at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA in the qualifying examination, while candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories require 50% marks or 5.5 CGPA.
Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Detailed vacancy information and admission guidelines are available on the official JAAP-PG website.
