The Architects Association of South Asia (AASA) invites entries for the AASA Logo Design Competition 2026, an opportunity for architects across South Asia to shape the visual identity of a regional professional platform representing unity, diversity, sustainability, and professionalism.

This competition aims to develop a distinctive, contemporary, and meaningful logo that reflects the shared architectural vision of South Asia while maintaining adaptability across digital and print media.

About AASA

The Architects Association of South Asia (AASA) represents architectural institutions across South Asia, fostering collaboration, dialogue, and professional excellence among member countries. The new logo will serve as a long-term identity symbolizing cross-border cooperation and shared cultural values.

  • Bangladesh Institute of Architects
  • Institute of Architects Pakistan
  • Indian Institute of Architects
  • Sri Lanka Institute of Architects
  • Society of Nepalese Architects
  • Bhutan Institute of Architects

Competition Brief

Participants are invited to design a logo that:

  • Reflects Unity in Diversity across South Asian nations
  • Embodies Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility
  • Represents Professionalism and Architectural Excellence
  • Is scalable, reproducible, and suitable for both print and digital platforms
  • Maintains clarity at small sizes (1” x 1” minimum reproduction scale)

The competition is open to member architects of AASA member institutes.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit entries in high-resolution vector format (AI, EPS, or SVG preferred).
  • Include a short concept note (150–250 words) explaining the design rationale.

  • The winning design will become the intellectual property of AASA.
