The Department of Physical Planning at School of Planning and Architecture Delhi has announced vacancies for the post of Project Associate under a research initiative focused on strengthening urban planning systems in small towns of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the vacancy notice issued on 6 May 2026, the recruitment is being conducted for the research project titled “Technical Capacity Building and Organizational Strengthening for Urban Planning Systems and Development with Focus on Small Towns in Uttar Pradesh.” The positions are contractual in nature and will be based in Lucknow.
A total of two vacancies have been announced with a monthly remuneration of ₹45,000. Candidates with qualifications in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Geography, Economics, Sociology, or related disciplines with a Master’s degree in Planning are eligible to apply. The institute has also clarified that no prior work experience is required, and final-year students awaiting examination results are also eligible.
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in either Bachelor’s or Master’s level Planning programmes. Selected candidates are expected to remain associated with the project for at least three months after joining.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official link provided by SPA Delhi. The last date for submission of applications is 22 May 2026.
The notification has been issued under the supervision of Mr. Piyoosh Singh, Assistant Professor and Project Coordinator, Department of Physical Planning, SPA New Delhi.
