RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of experienced professionals for the posts of Senior Solution Architect and Solution Architect in Data Centre on a contractual basis. The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled for 27 August 2026 at 9:00 AM.

The initial work location is New Delhi, although RailTel states that the location may be changed according to project requirements. The contractual engagement is for three years and may be renewed annually based on work requirements and satisfactory performance.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly CTC of:
- Senior Solution Architect: ₹3,65,000 per month
- Solution Architect: ₹3,05,000 per month
The CTC includes the employer’s expenditure towards gratuity and medical benefits.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is 24 to 50 years, with the maximum age after applicable relaxations extending to 55 years. Community-based relaxation includes 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PwBD candidates, subject to submission of valid certificates.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Senior Solution Architect – 01 Post
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/MCA or an Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Telecom.
Applicants must have 20+ years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio in Data Centre and IT, including experience handling Government/PSU Data Centres. At least 5 years of the total experience should be in the role of Solution Architect.
The role involves areas including e-Office resiliency and modernization, multi-cloud strategy, data-centre architecture and compliance, cybersecurity, cloud environments, proof-of-concept planning, risk mitigation, and development of IT implementation and operations frameworks.
Solution Architect – 01 Post
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or MCA, IT, or an Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT or Electronics.
Applicants must possess 14+ years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio in Data Centre, IT and SOC handling of Government/PSU Data Centres.
The responsibilities include architecting scalable and future-ready Data Centres, presales support, customer engagement, assessment of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, cybersecurity, modern cloud environments and Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure governance, database migration initiatives, cybersecurity frameworks and consulting engagements with government and enterprise clients.
Selection Process
The selection process will comprise a walk-in interview followed by a medical examination. Final empanelment will be subject to the candidate being found medically fit by the designated medical authority.
Documents Required
Candidates attending the walk-in interview must bring self-attested copies of the required documents along with the originals for verification. These include educational and experience certificates, age proof, applicable caste/disability certificates, CV with signed photograph, current employment/appointment proof, photo ID and address proof, NOC where applicable, and three recent passport-size photographs.

Important Terms
The engagement is contractual and may be terminated before completion of the tenure due to non-availability of work, unsatisfactory performance or administrative reasons. Selected candidates are also required to execute a one-year service agreement, while a three-month notice period is mandatory for resignation.
