Ghaziabad, July 2025:
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), in collaboration with the Council of Architecture (CoA), has announced a national-level National Architectural Design Competition for the proposed Utsav Bhawan and two key urban roundabouts/junctions in Ghaziabad. The competition seeks visionary and implementable designs that integrate cultural identity, sustainability, and functional urban aesthetics.

Design Brief
The Utsav Bhawan will serve as a multipurpose community facility, accommodating events such as weddings, seminars, and meetings. The building must include VVIP rooms, guest accommodations, basement parking, green building features, and energy-efficient systems. Located on a 1,840 sq. m plot in Sector-3, Vaishali, the estimated project cost is ₹15 crore.National Architectural Design Competition
In addition, participants must redesign any two key roundabouts from a given list to enhance public experience and urban form.

- Registered Architects (CoA)
- Architecture students via faculty mentors
- Recognized architecture institutions via Heads of Institution

Submission Guidelines
- Entries must include a concept note, 3D walkthrough, detailed designs, sustainability features, and estimated costs.
- Submission deadline: July 31, 2025
- No registration fee is required
- Only one entry per participant/team is allowed
- Submissions must maintain anonymity and follow specified formats

Assessment & Jury
